How It Works
When you buy a home, there are typically two real estate salespersons involved in the transaction; one representing the seller, and the other representing the buyer. The standard commission fees typically paid to each agent is 2.5 – 3% of the home’s purchase price. So, with a HOMEbate approved agent you could get up to 50% of this fee!

Who Pays The Fee?
When you buy a home with a HOMEbate approved agent, YOU WILL NEVER PAY ANYTHING for one of our agents to represent you! In fact, this coupon gives you part of the fee that the sellers pay our agents to represent you!

How Much Money Do I Save?
This HOMEbate gives you up to 50% of our partner agents commission! For a $500,000 home with a 3% commission, your refund could be up to $6,750.

$500,000 x 3% = Expected Gross Commission = $15,000
-  HOMEbate Fee = $1,500
= Agents Commission Fee = 13,500
- 50% to Agent = $6,750
= BUYERS REBATE = $6,750

Brokerage Min Fee
The brokerage minimum fee is for properties under $500,000 and is calculated based off the purchase price of the home. This fee is deducted out of the Gross Commission following the structure below:


How long is this Commission Rebate Good for?
Once claimed, this commission rebate is good for one year AFTER YOU START VIEWING HOMES with a HOMEbate Partner Agent. In order to make sure that your HOMEbate preferred agent will always provide the best possible service, this HOMEbate credit will reduce according to the below scale, but ONLY after your agent has started to invest gas money and time into assisting you in viewing homes!

- 50% if in escrow within the 1^st month of viewing homes
- 40% if in escrow within the 2^nd month of viewing homes
- 30% if in escrow within the 3^rd month of viewing homes
- 25% if in escrow within the 4^th month of viewing homes
- 20% if in escrow within the 5^th or 6^th month of viewing homes
- 10% if in escrow within the 7^th mth to 12^th month of viewing homes

How Do I Receive My Refund?
Typically we apply the refund to your closing costs or send your refund in the mail within 10 days of closing.

SELLERS SAVINGS
If you sell one home and buy another, or you sell more than 2 homes in 12 months, you save even more. If you choose a HOMEbate approved agent to represent you on both transactions within a nine-month period, you’ll save up to an additional $1,000 on the second transaction.
